Update on Brazil Butt Lift DVD

I was so upset that the second DVD was damaged in my Brazil Butt Lift set, that I finally called Beachbody Customer Service to see what I could get accomplished.  And I am so glad I called.

The lady I spoke with was very pleasant and professional.  My entire phone call lasted 12 minutes and I hung up with a new and improved replacement DVD on its way to me free of charge.  It took some extra time since I knew it was the DVD in the middle of the trifold case, but I was not at home and she had to check to see which one it was.  High and Tight and Sculpt were the workouts on the particular damaged disc and a new one has already been mailed.

I already received an email stating it has shipped and I am expecting it any day now.  Yeah!!! I am planning on starting the cycle of the 30 days again tomorrow (Friday) and if the one I need has not arrived by the time I need it, then I will skip it and come back.

Here’s to my Brazilian Butt!!!!

Day 4 – Cardio Axe

Ok, this may be considered cheating and not exactly a different exercise type, but this is a specific type of dancing exercise within the Brazil Butt Lift program, and it was fun! Cardio Axe (pronounced ah-shay and click here for a video sample) is a kind of cardio dancing, Brazilian style, with lots of dance type moves like the Samba, Lambada, and a few other funky steps thrown into the mix.

With name of moves like Sweep the Sand, Ride the Waves, African Drums And Rock ‘N Roll, there’s plenty in this one DVD to keep me moving and interested. I probably will get even more of an intense workout once I actually figure out where my feet were supposed to be going. I spent a bit of the DVD trying to figure out how to move my body like they did, or at least a somewhat close facsimile of the motion. Cross in front, then back, or was it left, then right??? Oh well, I do have a wee bit of rhythm and should figure it out after a few more sessions. Once I have the footwork down then I can add in the extra arm movements which truly make it seem like you’re dancing and having a great time. And give a more intense workout for sure!

Then I moved onto the second DVD scheduled for today, and my computer wouldn’t play it. Ut oh! It was damaged. The case holding the 3 DVDs had separate sections for each one in a trifold type of folder and the center plastic piece you snap the disc onto had come undone, or unglued, but it was loose and flapping around when I opened it. I tried it anyway and got the message “Skipping Over Damaged Area.” Except it never played anything but the main menu screen. Drat!

So the Brazil Butt Lift is on hold for now since I want to follow the program, but I will do the Cardio Axe a few more times so I am prepared once I restart everything. I have the number for Customer Service and am calling them tonight to see if they will send me out a new DVD to replace the damaged one. And now that I think of it, I will do the scheduled DVD for Monday to make sure it is not damaged too.

OBRIGADO!
